Upper School
Grades 9 – 12
Munroe’s upper school program prepares students for success beyond the classroom by emphasizing academic rigor, independence, and personal responsibility. Students engage in advanced coursework across core subjects, including language arts, math, science, and social studies, while developing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
In addition to core academics, students have opportunities to pursue interests in areas such as the arts, athletics, and extracurricular activities, helping them grow as well-rounded individuals while preparing for college and future careers.
Dual Enrollment Opportunities
Munroe’s upper school program offers students the opportunity to participate in dual enrollment courses, allowing them to earn college credit while still in high school. These courses provide a challenging academic experience and help students get a head start on their college journey.
Through dual enrollment, students gain exposure to college-level expectations, develop strong time management and study skills, and build confidence in their ability to succeed in a higher education setting.
A Snapshot of Our Curriculum
Our students are just as likely to be engaged in a handwriting or math lesson as they are exploring on a field trip. This dynamic approach encourages students to value the learning process and develop a lifelong love of discovery.
Advanced Academics
Munroe’s Upper School offers a range of advanced academic pathways that allow students to challenge themselves, explore career interests, and earn college credit before graduation.
Academic Dual Enrollment
Students may take academically focused dual enrollment courses through Munroe’s college partners, allowing them to earn college credit while completing their high school education.
Career & Technical Pathways
Students also have the opportunity to pursue career and workforce-focused dual enrollment through programs such as Lively Technical College, gaining hands-on experience and practical skills in specialized fields.
College Acceptances
Since 2021, 85% of Munroe graduates have been accepted to a top-choice college or university.
