Middle School

Grades 6 – 8

Munroe’s middle school program supports students as they transition into more independent and responsible learners. Instruction builds on foundational skills while introducing greater academic depth in subjects such as language arts, math, science, and social studies.

In addition to core academics, students continue to explore enrichment areas including art, music, physical education, and STEAM, while developing critical thinking, organization, and problem-solving skills that prepare them for upper school and beyond.

The Middle School Experience

Middle school at Munroe is designed to encourage growth, independence, and confidence during a pivotal stage of development. Students are challenged to take greater ownership of their learning while being supported by teachers who guide and mentor them along the way.

Through collaborative projects, engaging classroom discussions, and opportunities for leadership and involvement, students learn to think critically, communicate effectively, and navigate new academic and social challenges with confidence.
