Learning Outside The Classroom
Field Trips
Curriculum-connected field trips provide students with hands-on learning experiences across a variety of disciplines, including agriculture, marine science, earth and space science, classic literature, and STEM.
Students participate in engaging academic experiences such as visits to the Challenger Learning Center, Gulf Specimen Marine Lab, Wild Adventures, Biology Day at Busch Gardens, and Progress AD Day with FAMU and IFAS.
Munroe students also compete in the IFAS Public Speaking Competition, building confidence, communication skills, and academic excellence.
Campus Events
Campus events bring students together for shared learning experiences, guest speakers, performances, and moments of community engagement.
STEM Innovation Land
Outdoor and hands-on learning spaces encourage exploration in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics in meaningful ways.

Dual Enrollment
Students can begin dual enrollment as early as 6th grade through Munroe’s college partners, allowing them to earn college credit while completing their high school education.
Career & Technical Pathways
Students may also explore workforce-focused dual enrollment through Gadsden Technical College and Lively Technical College.
STEM & Hands-On Learning
From Inventionland to science-based exploration, students develop creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills across grade levels.
