Robert F. Munroe Day School is a K–12 independent school offering a college preparatory education in the heart of Gadsden County. Our scholars thrive in a safe, nurturing, and academically challenging environment. Our student-teacher ratio of 10:1 holds us to excellence both in the classroom and beyond.
Founded in 1969 in Mt. Pleasant, Florida, the school has built a culture of acceptance and a proud legacy rooted in tradition. Today, we’ve expanded to a brand-new, state-of-the-art campus in Havana, Florida. We are designed to meet the needs of 21st-century learners while preserving the warmth and community spirit that define the Munroe experience. We continue to use our historic Mt. Pleasant location for special events and celebrations, keeping our heritage alive for future generations.
At Munroe, scholars benefit from a well-rounded education that extends far beyond textbooks. We offer competitive athletics, leadership development, and student life programs focused on building real-world skills and strong character. Many of our seniors graduate with both a high school diploma and an Associate of Arts (AA) degree. By entering college as juniors, our Munroe education saves their families significant time and tuition costs and places them a step ahead of many other High School graduates.
We are proud to accept Florida’s Step Up for Students scholarships, which cover the majority of tuition for Florida families, regardless of income. We strive to make an exceptional education more accessible to students throughout the region.
